#7 AIDA

#7  Define characteristics and implications for each of the four steps of the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) formula.  In groups select a product and create example consumer engagement strategies that apply to each step.

What is AIDA?

How do you get someone to notice you?  Just for fun, make a short list of cheesy pick-up lines (keep it clean this is just to be funny...)

In sales, some products that are not basic needs, you must go through a process to get customers to "act to make a purchase."

Those steps are made up of the acronym AIDA.
  • Attention
  • Interest
  • Desire
  • Action
